The service was good, the room was neat. The bed seemed very comfy and it was fairly clean all around.

Reception very friendly, breakfast very good.

The hotel is in a quiet location and yet you are within 5 minutes walking distance in the middle. The selection at the breakfast buffet was completely sufficient, the scrambled eggs freshly and lovingly prepared. The mattresses were comfortable.

Tiny rooms, poor air con. 1st room too dark and small; 2nd room better but air con broke down;3rd room tiny but air con worked for 1st two nights then failed but hotel provided fan.

The final verdict on this

This hotel offers a fantastic location, just a short walk from iconic sights like the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag. The staff consistently provide helpful and friendly service. Be warned, though, the air conditioning leaves much to be desired, especially on hot days, and room sizes may feel snug for some travelers. It's a mixed bag worth considering.

This hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the city. My wife and I visited most attractions, including museums on foot. Attractions further afield were easily reached because we could get a train from the nearby station. The staff were excellent; we had a very good welcome by reception and breakfast staff who were extremely helpful and very polite. Our room was fine and we were in a very quiet area which was nice.

Good location

Very small rooms, no separate bathroom, no heating. But on request there was a delivery heater.

The superb air conditioning kept us comfortable during our stay, and the quiet room allowed for restful nights after exploring the nearby attractions.

This hotel is located on a quite street and can be easily accessed by public transport from Tegel airport (take the txl bus to Karlplatz) or the Hauptbahnhof. There are several good restaurants within a few minutes walk. There is public transport near by, so access to the main sites is easy. The Brandenburg Gate is about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel was clean, the room was on the small side, but adequate for two people with one medium case. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The room we had was quite small; luckily we only had one medium size suitcase, if we had of had two cases this would have been a problem. The breakfast room had too few staff and replacement of the cooked breakfast food was a slow and also the making up of new tables slow.

Very good, quiet location, within walking distance to the Deutsches Theater, Charity and Friedrichstadt Palace. A curiosity is the old high-security bunker right next to the hotel building, on whose roof the owner has built a modern penthouse.

The single room was pleasantly bright due to a room-high side wall, but also extremely small. Very special bathroom arrangement. This is entered through a narrow, doorless wall gap next to the desk. Very little room to move. Separate small toilet.

It was central, close to the railway station. Very quiet at night.

Would have liked a nice reception area to sit with friends as the rooms are very small.

Location: less than 1km from Brandenburg Gate, but on a quiet side street next to the Ukraine embassy. Cleanliness: The hotel and room were clean Staff: staff were friendly, spoke English, and were knowledgeable Good value for money Breakfast: BUffet had a good selection of cold items and for hot bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausage...however breakfast is an additional 8 euros (which is cheaper than many hotels) but with Dunkin Donuts (first I've seen in Germany!!), Starbucks, and other cafe's at Brandenburg Gate (a 5 min. walk) my advice is to skip the buffet and go out. Comfort: I found the bed confortable with a big pillow and soft (but not too soft) mattress...however this may be too soft for others.

Beds: The beds are narrow and are two beds pushed together with each bed having their own blanket (it is ONLY a blanket with a sheet material on the outside). I don't like this...HOWEVER this is normal for most German hotels. Room: The room is small with NO sitting area besides a small desk with a TV. MY husband and I found this no issue since we are married and don't mind being snuggled together on the bed. But be warned that this may not be the room for you if traveling with a collegue or friend because. The toilet is in its own small room, but the shower is not and there is only frosted glass between the toilet and shower. Parking: Parking is a in a garage located 3-4 minutes by walking and costs 12 euro a day...no on site parking. Overall good value for the money, would stay again if ever in Berlin again.

When we asked for the airport transport when checking out , they could have informed us that all bus transport was down due a state visit from Turkey.
